The Age Old Mistake Of Flea Market Marketing

Here's a blueprint on what not to do when you start a home based business online.
Have you just ventured into the arena of online business?

If you have then you need to read this, so pull up a chair for five minutes and let me let you in on a little secret of what NOT to do for the first year of your online career.

How do I know what NOT to do? Well because I did it of course.

In my first year of Internet marketing from the very first moment I joined All Advantage affiliate program (Remember that one) I became very interested in what the online home business market offered and from the moment I received my first check from Clickbank.com I was well and truly hooked.

So what did I do folks? Did I concentrate all my efforts in my main business and start earning a fortune and am now a millionaire and successful Internet marketer?

I think not!!

What I did do was I went out and joined every affiliate program that happened to make it's way into my mailbox and proceeded to try and market everyone of them. My thinking was that the more programs I joined then naturally the more money I would earn. Well for someone like myself on a shoestring budget this just wasn't the case. In fact it was exactly the opposite, I fumbled around for a year earning the odd dollar here and there and expending a lot of energy flogging more than a few dead horses.

The point I am trying to make here is this. If you are new online, or maybe even a seasoned veteran, don't fall into the same trap that I did. The most important lesson I learnt during that year of madness was that if you are going to be successful in online business, offline business or life for that matter, you must FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS.

Find yourself an established affiliate program with a good compensation structure and point all your energies in that direction. Learn about your chosen companies' products and become passionate about them, they will be a lot easier to sell that way and people will recognise your commitment to your business and want to join you.

Fragmenting your efforts all over the place is definitely a road to nowhere and causes more people than we can imagine to give up than probably any other factor in the marketing business.

Don't fall for the illusion of flea market marketing. Remember, you can achieve great things when you concentrate your mind in ONE direction, not fifty.

I ordered this chair to go with an EZ up canopy. When I got it, I didn't take it out right away and look at it.

This c.d. is simply amazing. She has an amazing voice and lets face it she can belt out a tune. My favorite songs on here are "All the unsung hero's" and "faster than the speed of love". She is an incredible artist. Well worth the money for this incredible cd. Waiting for her next album.



Customer Review: New recordings show Lane is as good as ever

Lane Brody was (briefly) signed to a major label in the early eighties, but didn't establish herself as a country singer. As I remember it, there was one album of solo recordings, plus a duet with Johnny Lee which appeared on one of his albums. It is that duet (The yellow rose, actually a sensational cover of Yellow rose of Texas) which is what she is remembered for - quite rightly, as their rocking version is far superior to any of the traditional versions of the song.



This album includes new recordings of songs from back then, including Over you (Lane's best solo effort of the time) and The yellow rose, for which Lane got Johnny Lee back in the studio. It is many years since I heard the original, but the new version sounds very similar.



On her own, Lane seems to enjoy the slower songs, which include a great cover of Jim Croce's classic I'll have to say I love you in a song, plus many excellent songs that I don't recognise, some of which were written by Lane.



In case you're alarmed by re-recordings, this project was properly managed and financed by Lane and her husband and released on a small label, so this is not just any re-hash - indeed, I believe Lane sings even better than she did twenty years ago. Music this good deserves to be heard.

Customer Review: totally useless

My son wanted a wheel to use on his PS2 for Christmas. I purchased this item for him along with PS Nascar 07. He has a few other driving games as well. My son has tried to use this wheel with his driving games and none of them even recognize the wheel as being attached to the PS2. Ive had no success in getting it to work. In contacting the company, there has been no help in figuring out what might be wrong with the wheel. I couldnt get a refund because it only had a 15 day return policy and I purchased it too early in December. (Partially my fault in buying too early and not reading the return policy.) So I am not happy with this item nor the company who sold it.
